“If you want to know where your heart is, look to where your mind goes when it wanders.”

The idea behind the YUME COLLECTION sprouted long ago. These are the colors that inspired me, the images that danced about in my dreams, the joy that filled my heart when thinking of designing my signature line of cards.

As I began curating washi from Japan more frequently, I became quite familiar with common motifs and patterns. The desire to take some of these design elements and apply a “fresh coat of paint” so to speak, and take a more whimsical approach grew stronger and stronger. I began to dream about what I would create if I were in the driver’s seat.

“Yume” means dream in Japanese, and it’s where everything always starts for me.
